If you take a look at just about any of our design projects, then you probably understand just how much we love tile. From an all-over statement to a subtle splash, a compelling tile pattern is just as effective at instilling some flair to your space as the boldest of wall art. But don't just take our word for it–check out how we took Shay Mitchell's fireplace to the next level and added a little nook to textural paradise to Nina Dobrev's kitchen.
So when Exquisite Surfaces tapped us to design a custom 8x8 cement tile for their 20th anniversary, we jumped at the chance to be one of the 20 designers included in their rich history. Made in ES's Moroccan factory, each tile is made by hand and takes about eight minutes. Expert mould-makers pour, compress, and dry them individually before they're shipped to designers all over the world.
In conceptualizing our design, we made a point to keep our tile as colorful and versatile as possible to balance the tile's premium nature with a dash of playfulness. Stack them aligned for a clean, geometric look, or rotate to your heart's content to make a funky, eclectic statement.
