Tour Our First Love: This Telluride Retreat

The getaway that was our gateway to design.

When most people think of the landscape of Telluride, CO, they thing of one thing: giant, snow-capped peaks. When we were tapped to design this mountainside getaway (our first big project as Consort Design), we envisioned a space that would feel right at home amongst those snowy drifts, but that would serve as an equally tranquil retreat during Colorado's other stunning seasons, too.

With incredible panoramic views and drenching natural light, the home lent itself to design that brought the outside in. By layering natural materials and earthy textures with luxe pops of color, we crafted an inviting retreat in which to stash your ski boots and sandals alike.

Scroll below to tour the space that kicked off not only our love affair with Telluride, but solidified our love for crafting beautiful, livable retreats all over the world.
